First, you will paint the clay pot with the Americana acrylic white paint, you may need to paint 2-3 coats, be sure to let it dry for at least 10 minutes in between coats. While the paint is drying, cut the ears out of the white fun foam, I made the ears about 6" long. Cut the inner pink part of the ear out of the pink fun foam. After the paint has dried completely, glue the wiggle eyes onto the outside of the clay pot using hot glue, glue dots or craft glue. Next, using the pink paint and the tip of the sponge brush, paint the cheeks on the bunny, under the eyes, and then paint the nose in a triangle shape. Using the Americana Paint Marker, paint whiskers and the mouth on the bunny. Fill the bunny clay pot with Easter grass and candy.
Easter Peeps Table Décor
Peeps flat bunnies in your choice of color
Marbles to match your peeps
Stemmed flowers, your choice of color
Large square plastic or glass vase
This is a really yummy and fun DIY table decor project to make, the kids may even like helping to create this one. All you do is fill the bottom of the plastic or glass container with blue floral marbles, then place the Peeps bunnies standing up on top of the marbles. You may have to seperate some of the Peeps to fit them correctly, just be careful when you do this so that they don't get stretched. Lastly, cut your floral stems short enough to stick into the marbles so that they will stand up.
Fastest craft ever, hold one end of the plastic egg and paint the other end of the egg with Americana decou page, then quickly before the decou page dries, pour the glitter all over the painted end of the egg. Place the glittered egg softly onto a plate to dry. Do as many of the plastic eggs as you want, let them dry for about an hour and then repeat the steps on the other end of the egg. Let them dry overnight and enjoy the beauty.
